Melton residents asked to take in purrfect strangers

WESTERN Suburbs Animal Rescue Service has been inundated with kittens, and volunteers like Kristy Whitefield are urging Melton residents to give them a permanent home.

Most of the kittens are about nine weeks old. “All kittens come fully vet-checked and given a clean bill of health. [They’re] vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, flee and worm-treated,” spokesman Nathan Miles said. An adoption fee applies to cover the cost of a vet. Details: 0400988931
