Burglars strike Melton homes

Jewellery, a money tin, video cameras and computer and gaming units were stolen from a Melton West house late last month.

The robbery took place in home in Hilton Way between 8.30am and 12.30pm on March 26.

Thieves entered via an open bedroom window. The items were valued at $2750.

In another burglary nearby, thieves forced open a laundry window and stole a phone, jewellery, cash and gaming devices from a house in Barleycorn Place, Melton.

The theft occurred on March 22 between 8.30am and 5.30pm.
