LAST week, the Weekly reported that Southern Rural Water had arranged free motor boat and jet-ski training with free licences.
The Transport Department has since clarified that only the course is free of charge.
“Upon successful completion of the course participants will be presented with a certificate of completion which they can present to VicRoads when applying for their recreational boat operators licence,” a spokesman said.
