A BACCHUS Marsh man was injured in an assault at Mac’s Hotel in High Street, Melton, on March 23.
Police said the man, 48, was hit while he was in the hotel toilet about 8.30pm and lost consciousness.
A 46-year-old man was arrested at the scene and has been charged with causing serious injury.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
