MELTON Baptist Church’s playgroup is expecting up to 500 people to attend a free family fun day on Saturday.
Since its launch in term four of last year, the group has had to add a second session due to the large number of residents attending.
Saturday’s event will feature jumping castles, an animal nursery, face-painting, scavenger hunt and live music.
It’s at Melton Baptist Church, corner of Coburns Road and West Melton Drive, from 10am-2pm.
The group’s weekly sessions involve active indoor and outdoor play, crafts, snacks, music and storytime.
Fees are designed to be affordable, at $20 per family per term.
