Toddler survives fall

PARAMEDICS are amazed a Melton South toddler suffered only superficial injuries after falling from a second-storey window on February 28.

Paramedics arrived at 8am to find the 18-month-old in the care of his mother.

She said he had fallen about three metres from the window onto concrete.

He had grazing to his elbows and lower back and all his vital signs were normal.

“He was a very lucky little boy not to have been seriously injured,” paramedic Jamie Jones said.
