Festival frolic

Kids and adults will be in for a great treat at the Summersault 2015 festival, which will feature everything from market stalls to carnival rides, before an epic fireworks finale. The festival runs from 2-10pm on Saturday, February 21, at the Town Centre Recreation Reserve, 19 The Parade, Caroline Springs.

Chrome domes unite

Be brave and shave to raise funds for people with blood cancer. The Leukaemia Foundation is encouraging everyone to get sponsored to shave or colour their hair on Thursday, March 12. Sign up at www.worldsgreatestshave.com.

Valentines dine and dance

Bacchus Marsh Community Radio Apple 98.5 and the Bacchus Marsh Food Bus will host a Valentine’s dinner dance fundraiser on Saturday, February 14, at St Bernard’s Hall, 61 Lerderberg Street, Bacchus Marsh. Family tickets are available; single tickets cost $40, which covers a two-course meal. BYO drinks. Outdoor fun for pre-schoolers

Get your pre-schooler outside and get them throwing, catching and kicking. Kids Get Active sessions will run from 9.30am every Monday from February 23 to March 30 at the Kurunjang Recreation Reserve, 74 Centenary Avenue, Kurunjang.

Outdoor Pilates

Melton council is offering free outdoor Pilates classes that are ideal for beginners. They’ll be held from 10am every Tuesday from February 24 to March 30 at the Town Centre Recreation Reserve, 20 Becca Way, Caroline Springs.

What a racquet

Get your heart pumping and tennis racquet swinging with free cardio tennis sessions. They will run from 7pm every Wednesday from February 26 at Melton South Tennis Club, Northcott Street, Melton South.
