Inbound lanes on the Western Freeway between Ferris Road and Hopkins Road, Rockbank, will be closed from 6pm on Friday to 5am, Monday, February 2.
VicRoads says the closures are due to asphalting works on the Western Freeway. Works will be undertaken during the day and overnight, with some noise expected during this time.
The speed limit will also be reduced between Troups Road North and Hopkins Road while associated works are carried out.
Motorists are being advised of traffic delays of up to 25 to 30 minutes.
Detour for drivers travelling to Melbourne:
From the Western Freeway, exit at Ferris Road, travel along Melton Highway, turn left onto Kings Road and right onto the Calder Freeway.
Detour for drivers travelling to Caroline Springs, Deer Park, Werribee and Hoppers Crossing:
From the Western Freeway, exit at Ferris Road, travel along the Melton Highway, turn right onto Kings Road and continue along Station Road.
