North Western secured its first win of the Baseball Victoria summer league season on Sunday. The Melton-based side defeated Fitzroy A by one run, 9-8.
The victory lifts the Titans to second on the division 4 north west ladder after two games. North Western will look to maintain its winning run when it hosts Essendon in round three this week.
In other weekend results, Ballarat City was too good for Essendon and Fitzroy B scored 14 runs on its way to a six-run win against Geelong. After two rounds, Fitzroy B is on top of the ladder.
