It’s been a busy few weeks for Bacchus Marsh cycling speedster Graeme Frislie (above).
The 13-year-old was selected to represent Victoria for the first time in his young career earlier this month and competed at the road cycling junior national championships in Toowoomba.
Riding in the under-15 category, his best result came on the last day of competition when he finished sixth in the criterium.
The Ballarat Grammar student said he enjoyed his representative debut.
“I got selected for the national titles from the state championships in Wangaratta,” he said.
“I had some good results … sixth in the criterium, that was my best. I was really happy with that.”
Frislie also competed in the individual time trial and road race.
