Help some seniors learn Bridge

Keen card players are looking for help to learn Bridge. The senior group meets from 1-4pm every Tuesday during the school term at U3A Melton, corner Rees and Wilson roads, Melton South.

DIY for the kiddies

Bunnings will hold a workshop for children at Melton library, 31 McKenzie Street, Melton from 11am-noon on September 24. Tickets can be collected at the library.

Kids from 8-12 are invited to show off their Lego skills at Melton library, 31 McKenzie Street, Melton from 2-3pm on Friday, September 25. Collect tickets at the library.

Bombers star at lunch event

The Merrimu AFL grand final fund-raising luncheon, to support people with disabilities, will be held at Tabcorp Park, 2 Ferris Road, Melton from noon-3pm on Friday, September 26. Special guests will be Essendon star Dyson Heppell, Gary Ayres and Michael Roach.

Crafty way to buy

Craft goods, toys, plants and more will be for sale at the Bacchus Marsh hospital ladies auxiliary caravan at 26 Main Street Bacchus Marsh from 8.30am-1pm on Friday, September 26.

Gizmo makes science fun

Bring your children along to the Great Gizmo – a show that combines science and circus to create an exciting performance – from 10.30-11.30am on Tuesday, September 30 at Caroline Springs library, 193-201 Caroline Springs Boulevard, Caroline Springs and from 2-3pm at Melton library, 31 McKenzie Street, Melton.
