Melton Centrals are the toast of the Riddell District Football Netball League after an emphatic A-grade netball grand final victory on Sunday. The Centrals entered the game as underdogs but their experienced line-up took the title with a 56-41 win against Riddell, at Romsey Park. The Centrals had all but won the game at half-time and refused to let the Bombers into the game. In senior RDFL football, Diggers Rest fell 18 points short of Romsey.
