Frank Pawlowicz will head the soon-to-be-opened Melton North West Primary School.
Education Minister Martin Dixon also announced last week that Susan Seneviratne will be principal at the new Wyndham Vale South Primary School and Jennifer Crowle has been appointed to Truganina P-9.
Mr Dixon said Mr Pawlowicz was highly regarded, having taught in regional and metropolitan schools before becoming principal of Rockbank Primary School in 2012 .
“I am confident Frank will provide strong and dynamic leadership at this fantastic new school,” Mr Dixon said.
He will be based at Melton West’s Wedge Park Primary School until Melton North West opens early next year.
