AS Colour – a major music apparel company – may send orders throughout Australia and Asia, even printing and supplying the Arctic Monkeys’ T-shirts on their latest Australian tour, but they’ll soon call Ravenhall home.
Construction recently began on an 8000 square metre building for the Australian and New Zealand company, a leading supplier and retailer of music promotions apparel.
When it opens in late October, the new company headquarters and distribution base will employ 25 Melton residents, and will replace the current Sydney head office.
The $9 million development is in Orbis Business Park, a 30 hectare estate close to the Western Freeway owned by the Pellicano Group.
The group’s joint managing director Renato Pellicano said the new premises would help further growth of the Ravenhall industrial site.
Mr Railton said the location was chosen for its strategic supply chain advantages, and the convenience of a fully master-planned and integrated business park.
“We’ll be working closely with Pellicano in designing a purpose-built facility which will incorporate the best practice systems to meet short-term requirements, as well as providing for significant growth.”
