The Melton community joined forces earlier this year to raise close to $12,000 for the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation.
For the second year running residents, businesses and organisations opened their hearts and wallets at Ajay’s Family Fun Day hosted by Ajay’s Pizzeria.
The event was launched last year in honour of young Ajay Psaila, who died after a tragic accident in 2012.
Event organiser and family friend Colleen Downie said plans are already under way for next year’s event.
