VRL: North West Wolves thrashed by Sunbury Tigers

North West Wolves lost their first match for the season in the Victorian Rugby League first division, falling to reigning premier Sunbury, 64-12.

In a physical match, the Tigers scored early before the Wolves hit back with a try to Konielo Vaiga.

The Tigers got the next three tries to lead by 18 points. It was all Sunbury after half-time.

In second division, Melton Broncos lost to Craigieburn Phoenix 48-6. Anetone Alagaelua scored the Broncos’ only try.
