Ballarat Football League was unable to stay with Goulburn Valley in the second half of its interleague clash in Shepparton, losing 22.20 (152) to 13.9 (87).
Goulburn Valley led by seven points at half-time; it would have been more but for inaccurate kicking.
GVFL took control in the second half, booting 15 goals to six. Christopher Giampaolo kicked three goals for the BFL, while Melton South’s Reece Miles chipped in with two.
