Gardening enthusiasts and those handy with a shovel are invited to join the Friends of Melton Botanic Garden this Sunday for a planting day.
The group will focus on planting in the Eucalyptus Arboretum and will celebrate its efforts with a sausage sizzle at the end of the day.
Participants are being asked to dress in appropriate clothing and bring their own gloves and sturdy footwear, with vests and tools supplied on the day.
People interested in helping out can meet at the depot on the corner of Tullidge and Williams streets, Melton, at 10am this Sunday, May 25.
