Behaviour therapy

If your children are having behavioural struggles and you’re not sure what to try next, behaviour therapy may be able to help you. Very challenging behaviours are often associated with Spectrum disorders. Moorabool Shire Aged and Disability Services will hold a forum on “autism behaviour management” with counsellor Bobbi Cook. The forum is 7-9pm, Tuesday, May 20. Booking is essential.

Family Day

Characters from Frozen will make a guest appearance at a family fun day at
St Bernards Parish Centre, Bacchus Marsh, on May 17. The event, from 10am, includes a jumping castle, cake stall, fairyfloss, auction and coffee van and is to raise funds for medical treatment for four-year-old Sienna Cordell, who has cerebral palsy.

KidsMatter

Melton Primary School has a KidsMatter event on May 15, with families invited to a sausage sizzle and activities session from 4.30pm. KidsMatter is an initiative to promote student mental health and well-being in primary schools.

Biggest Morning Tea

On Friday, May 30, St Bernards P&F will again host Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea. Ddonations of cakes, slices, biscuits and raffle prizes are required.
