Crash witnesses sought

Police are appealing for witnesses to a crash on the Midland Highway on May 4. Investigators said a silver Commodore sedan was travelling north on the highway about 6.40pm when it crashed into a four-metre-wide tractor and spreader that was parked on the side of the road. WIndows smashed

Caroline Springs schools in Federation Way and Stevenson Court had several windows smashed during the weekend of May 3-4. Police believe the incidents are linked to a nearby car break-in. The car’s owner heard noises coming from her front yard and saw two men running away. Her car had been rummaged through, but nothing was stolen. Information: 9747 7999

Tools, appliances stolen

Thieves stole power tools from a four-wheel-drive and appliances from a house under construction in Arnolds Creek Boulevard, Melton West, on May 7. Police said more than one offender was required to remove the property. The items were still in their original packaging. Information: 9747 7999

Pizza staff menaced

Staff members at a pizza shop in Burleigh Road, Melton, were held up by two men about 7.45pm on April 30. One of the men, wearing a mask and brandishing two knives, demanded cash from staff members, who followed his orders. Information: 9747 7999
