A friendly battle for affection was waged between the Easter Bunny and CFA mascot Captain Koala when the pair visited clients of disability support organisation Merrimu Services, including John Davidson.
CFA fourth lieutenant Dale Salathiel said there was smiles all round from the attendees, who also got to check out a fire truck at the studios of community radio station Apple FM last Friday.
“I think Captain Koala stole the show more than the Easter Bunny actually.
He got a lot more of the cuddles.”
