Cary Seabrook is a step closer to his dream of becoming an Australian rally car champion.
The Melton 23-year-old won the first round of the Victorian Club Rally Series in Neerim on March 1.
“It has been his dream since he could walk,” girlfriend and navigator Rhiannon Philpot-Hale said.
“We have been competing in the Victorian rally series for the past three years and are going into our fourth year this year. We compete against people double our age who have spent twice as much money on their cars. Cary does all his own work on his car between the two jobs he works to help pay it.”
Seabrook hopes to secure entry into national events within the next couple of years and ultimately compete around the world.
