Two new children’s and community centres will open in Melton next year. Work started last week on the Atherstone and Botanica Springs centres, each of which will have three kindergarten rooms, an occasional care room, maternal and child health room, and community meeting room.
Mayor Bob Turner says the centres will help cater for Melton’s growing population. “The Atherstone and Botanica Springs centres will provide important, in-demand services for families in these newly establishing communities,” he said.
