Make a difference across Melton this Christmas

Pauline Farnan and Kate Swan are encouraging Melton residents to donate to a local Christmas gift appeal.

For the 10th year, Melton’s First National Real Estate is collecting toys for children in need.

“All toys are donated back into the community,’’ director Tim Farnan says.

‘‘Many of the major toy appeals see the toys end up in the city, but we know with our appeal they end up locally.”

Mr Farnan says gifts, to be distributed by Melton Baptist Church, are needed for children of all ages, with sports goods and soft toys among the most popular.

Leave toys at 264 High Street, Melton, until December 19.
