Kieran Atkin (46) top scored as Bacchus Marsh struggled to play Matt Livingstone (4-21) and Scott Fuller (3-45) on the way to 150.
But Brenton Payne (2-6) and Mark Hooper (1-11) struck in the 18 overs before stumps to leave Riddell 3-37.
Sunbury United (4-193d) is on its way to an outright win against St Anthony’s (43, 0-7), while Sunbury (5-137d) is also in a dominant position against Woodend (51, 1-6). Wallan (1-60) is well placed against Romsey (109).
In B-grade, Diggers Rest Bulla Village set Gisborne 9-195 to chase this weekend.
