Shoppers are being encouraged to leave a Christmas gift at Kmart Melton as part of the 25th annual Wishing Tree Appeal.
Participants can write the age and gender of a suitable recipient on a gift tag and place the present under the tree at the Woodgrove shopping centre store.
Gifts don’t need to be bought from Kmart – vouchers, cash donations and homemade presents are also accepted.
The Salvation Army will distribute presents to children in need. The appeal ends Christmas Eve.
