St Michaels Primary School pupil Gemma was thinking beyond waterslides when she created her entry for a National Water Week poster competition.
The Springbank pupil was runner-up in the grade 3-4 division.
The competition encouraged pupils to think about the role of water in everyday life and its many uses.
The best posters from the catchments of three regional water corporations, including Central Highlands Water, are used in a yearly calendar.
