Two men have been charged with attempted murder after a shooting in Meadow Heights on Monday.
Daniel Scicluna, 33, was sitting in his car when he was allegedly shot by the two men, who were passing in another car.
The incident happened in Malmsbury Drive at 1.30am on Monday morning.
Mr Scicluna was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a stable condition. Despite being shot in the forehead, he later checked himself out of the hospital.
Shannon Cooke, 21, from Meadow Heights, and Con Likiardopoulos, 23, from Thomastown, were each charged with one count of attempted murder by detectives from the Hume Crime Investigation Unit.
They were remanded and were due to appear before the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Friday.
