Strawberries and cherries trail a tasty treat

Bacchus Marsh’s Strawberries and Cherries Trail Weekend looks ripe for the picking, with more than 10,000 visitors expected to join Larnie (pictured) on November 16 and 17.

The start of the strawberry and cherry season will be celebrated with an event trail passport.

There are 28 stops along the trail for fruit picking, wine and cider, strawberry and cherry themed-menus, arts, and more.

A free shuttle bus will make the adventure easier, with daytime events running between 10am and 5pm.

Visitors who receive more than 10 trail stamps will enter a draw to win an ultimate Bacchus Marsh experience, valued at more than $1000.

There’ll be fireworks and live music at Bacchus Marsh Hill Winery on Saturday night from 6pm.
