Premier Bowls: Bacchus Marsh eclipse Trentham

All four home skips passed 30 shots as Bacchus Marsh recorded a thumping 68-shot win over visiting Trentham on the opening weekend of division 1.

Jeff Holloway’s 31-12 win against Barry Skoglund and Dylan Filuk’s 37-21 win against Barry Mahar were the most lopsided rinks of the 18-134 to 0-66 result.

The margin puts Bacchus Marsh top of the table. Kyneton beat Romsey 18-111 to 0-64, Woodend won 18-113 to 0-73 against Gisborne, and Lancefield 16-98 defeated Kyneton Golf 2-79.
