Melton was one shot away from a clean sweep across the divisions on the first weekend of Bowls Victoria Saturday pennant.
Melton’s top team lost 75-76 against MCC in the club’s first outing in division 1. \
Melton is lining up in division 1, section 2 this season after winning promotion from division 2 last year.
In division 3, section 1, Melton-2 won 82-66 against Maribyrnong Park, while Melton-3 beat Flemington-Kensington 83-64 and Melton-4 beat Hoppers 110-57.
