Gordon Primary School pupils dig the dirty work

GORDON Primary School pupils dug in for last month’s National Tree Day, planting 20 trees.

Avid gardener and site co-ordinator Amanda Watters said it was important to teach children to take care of the environment.  

“The best part of the day was the kids getting their hands dirty,” she said.
