TAC Cup: Western Jets hold off Rebels

WESTERN Jets stopped to a halt after half time on Sunday but had enough of a lead to hold out North Ballarat Rebels by six points.

The Jets led 52-16 at half time and scored just two points in the second half to win 8.6 (54) to 6.12 (48).

Will Krithararis booted three goals, while Darley’s Brett Bewley and Melton’s Lachlan Hickey were among the best.

The Jets (7-1-6) are sixth on the table heading into this weekend’s clash against Oakleigh Chargers from 11.30am Saturday at Warrawee Park.
