STREETSCAPE works for Bacchus Marsh’s Main Street and improvements for Maddingley Park pavilion and Ballan Recreation Reserve are on the cards after Moorabool council applied for funding in the latest round of the Regional Development Australia Fund (RDAF).
Other projects on the council’s wish list include upgrading Gordon tennis courts, providing irrigation to Bungaree Recreation Reserve and extending the Wallace pavilion.
Proposed works on Main Street, estimated to cost more than $700,000, include the undergrounding of power lines between Gisborne Road and Gell Street and continuation of beautification works on the north side.
The latest round of the federal government’s RDAF will provide $150 million to local governments for capital infrastructure projects.
