MEMBERS of Melton Day Country Women’s Association branch celebrated its 75th birthday last Thursday.
Mavis, Sylvia, Ida and Marilyn (pictured) joined other members at the Melton Valley Golf Club to celebrate the milestone.
The group was founded in 1938 and some of its longest-serving members joined in the early 1970s.
Members have carried out a great deal of community work, including raising money for floods and fire relief, and knitting teddy bears for babies born in Melton.
