AVENUE Bowling Club’s ambition for a new synthetic green has been realised, with the surface completed last Friday.
Work at the Bacchus Marsh club, which plays pennant in the Ballarat association, started in March.
“The last synthetic green had been around for 13 years and it was time we upgraded to something with less upkeep,” spokesman Grant Stirling said.
The green will be unveiled on July 13.
