A NEW flood and storm response trailer is allowing Bacchus Marsh SES members, including Kiri Dawes and Christopher Stuckey (pictured), to attend to more calls when needed.
The equipment has been used half a dozen times since it was presented to the unit by the state body last month.
Deputy controller Bill Robson says the $38,000 trailer includes lighting towers.
“We bought our first storm trailer through fund-raising,” he said.
“We attend 140 to 240 storm or flood incidents a year, so having two in the fleet to look after the whole Moorabool area will be a great help.”
