TWO Melton companies were convicted and fined at the Sunshine Magistrates Court last week for failing to control serrated tussock on their properties.
Rainn Pty Ltd was ordered to pay almost $11,000 in costs and a $10,000 fine.
The Department of Environment and Primary Industries was forced to undertake works after the company failed to do so. Update Pty Ltd was fined $1000.
