BALLARAT Football League’s under-18s peppered the goals to pull away from the Riddell District league in interleague footy at the Eastern Oval on Wednesday night.
While the netball clashes between the leagues were wiped out by bad weather and will be rescheduled, there was no stopping Ballarat’s footballers, who led at every change in the 14.16 (100) to 5.4 (34) victory.
Ballarat kicked inaccurately in the first half but still led by 18, 39 and 65 points at each interval.
The under-18s now head into their weekend country championship showdowns, with the Ballarat league taking on Bendigo and Riddell meeting Kyabram District.
