Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea: Melton, Moorabool ready to raise cup 

Melton and Moorabool schools, businesses and community groups will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea this month. Members of St Bernards Primary School’s parents and friends committee – including Rosanna Tejedor, Tonena Battaglia, Laurie Scala and Rosemary Farrugia (pictured) – have been hosting events for more than 13 years. They’re urging residents to support this year’s Cancer Council fund-raiser at the parish centre on Thursday from 10am. Michel’s Patisserie in Bacchus Marsh will also hold a tea on Thursday.
