MELTON remains the pace-setter in Ballarat Netball League as the focus turns to this week’s blockbuster against North Ballarat City.

The two remaining unbeaten teams in A-grade square off this weekend with three-and-zero City challenging the four-and-zero Bloods.

Melton ensured it would take an unbeaten record into the showdown by comfortably defeating Bacchus Marsh on Saturday.

The Cobras went to the first change goalless and never closed the gap in the 48-20 result.

Melissa McCauley was the dominant goaler, shooting 39.

At Darley, the Devils climbed up to third with a 44-23 win against Melton South. Click here for our picture gallery of the match.

Olivia Aughton, Talei Bari and Alix Edwards controlled the centre of the court for Darley while Elyce Carlyle led the scoring with 25 goals.

Jenna Nicolle and Daniel Robertson were Melton South’s best in defeat.

Elsewhere, Sunbury beat Lake Wendouree 48-28, East Point beat Sebastopol 50-33, and North Ballarat City beat Ballarat 62-25.
