MELTON residents Peggy and Leslie Harrison (pictured) celebrated 70 years of marriage on May 3.
The pair met in England and married in 1943. Mr Harrison, 93, says he loves everything about his wife Peggy.
He says their memorable moments included travelling around Australia and having children, but he wouldn’t give away the secrets of a happy marriage.
“I don’t think either of us could tell you,” Mr Harrison says. “[But it’s] Obviously something.”
The couple celebrated the milestone with a family lunch.
