TAC Cup: Western Jets down to Stingrays

WESTERN Jets’ run of narrow wins is over after a nine-point loss to Dandenong
Stingrays on Sunday.

The Jets led in the first half but were overtaken
by the Stingrays’ six-goal third quarter, losing 15.8 (98) to 12.15
(87).

Inaccurate kicking, 3.7 in the first quarter, cost the Jets dearly
later in the day. James Sicily booted three goals for the Jets, while
Dillon Viojo, Jake Greiser, David Iaccarino, Jake McKenzie, Duom Dawam
and Daniel O’Leary were better players.
