ANDREW Arnold was the difference as Melton opened its Hockey Victoria Vic League 3 season with a 1-0 win on Saturday against Collegians-X. Melton will take the momentum into its match away at Old Melburnians this Saturday.
Melton’s women were also winners, beating Bayside Cougars 3-0. Jessica Spence scored two goals and Fiona Branford the other for Melton.
The women play Swinburne this Sunday.
