Bacchus Marsh still in the danger zone

BACCHUS Marsh CFA is reminding landholders that fire restrictions are still in force. 

Local brigades have attended a large number of illegal burnoffs. 

First lieutenant Tony Prowse said residents and property owners may face prosecution for burning off illegally. 

“The fire at Dereel is proof enough that fire is still a major threat to us all.”
