TAP, jazz and ballet dancers will show off their best moves at this month’s Melton-Bacchus Marsh Dance Festival.
The 20th annual event is at Melton Community Hall until April 28. Competing for the 10th year is Melton’s Indya Chilton, 13.
Her mother and organising committee member Deborah Chilton says Indya is looking forward to hitting the stage after winning the tap championship last year.
‘‘She started dancing when she was three, she loves it. We run [the event] at Easter every year and have kids from all over Victoria competing. Last year we had at least 100 competitors.’’
