POLICE are seeking witnesses to an assault on man while he was crossing a cobblestone bridge on Reserve Road, Melton, on March 10.
The victim, aged in his 60s, fell into a nearby creek after being seriously injured by an unknown attacker about 10pm.
He was discovered by a passerby at 7.15am the next day and taken to hospital.
