Just do something already! What are you waiting for, a death?

Re: Costly clean-up as graffiti vandals strike (Weekly, March 12):
This is a prime example of locations where those tripwire covert cameras would help you capture the vandals in the act, and thus get them to pay you back for the clean up. You have the good fortune to have a company there that can provide this service for you. Choose to take advantage of it and stop the bleeding of taxpayers. If you catch a few of them, you will see a drastic drop in future graffiti by them as well as others.

Re: Why it’s hard to find a job in the west (Weekly, March 12):
Our economy has slowed and plateaued compared to 2010. Economists expect unemployment to rise. The rort over 457 visas is only one part of our job problems. Instead of our government adjusting immigration intake to match our jobs and economic downturn, they increased all categories. That’s why we are in immigration overload, and population growth is outpacing jobs growth. Our government needs a reality check.
