A BACCHUS Marsh aged-care centre has unearthed some talented senior scribes.
Members of Providence Aged Care’s U3A literary group, including Ted Jackson, Helena Schrimmer and Margaret Wright (pictured), recently celebrated the success of its 2012 program with a graduation ceremony and book launch.
Taking in the works of Shakespeare and other notable writers, seven women aged from 80-99 put together a collection of short stories and poems.
The collection also included the wonderful written memories of three women who died during its production.
