KYNETON has surprised the Victorian football community by withdrawing from senior competition in the Bendigo Football League.
The Tigers were unable to sign enough senior players for the season ahead.
BFL executive Steven Oliver said: “The club has done everything in its power to get the numbers, but they have fallen short and this is the consequence.”
A decision about the future of the club’s reserves, under-18 and netball teams will be made in the next few days.
